Ice Sculptures

What do creative people find to do for winter activities? Ice sculpting is one way to enjoy the frigid temperatures in the Great North. Spectators enjoy these works of art that are only visible temporarily during the freezing temperatures.

Ice sculptors Terry Reis and Rob Graham created their masterpiece "King Boreas versus The Evil Volcanic Rex" from blocks of ice at the 2017 St. Paul Winter Carnival. The theme of this spectacular ice sculpture is the struggle between cold and warm.
